I’m Riley Asha Collins Dobricic, a communications and digital creative with a Bachelor of Communication (Media) from RMIT University, completed in 2024. My work spans visual design, digital content, website management, marketing and brand development.

Project: Community video on conservation and preservation of the Hattah-Kulkyne National Park
My contribution: Shot and directed by myself, outsourced editing, interview questions collaborative among the media team at Mallee CMA. Main focus on shot planning, creative direction and production coordination.

Rehabilitation of Brickworks Billabong- Merbein Common
Project: Community update video for a project on a waterway in the Merbein Common.
My contribution: Selected and edited photographs captured by the team on site to showcase landscape improvements. Reworked complex environmental information into clear, accessible language to help the general public understand the project and its outcomes.

My contribution: Brief was for a promotional period focusing on ‘spring cleaning’ concept created by myself and developed collaboratively. Design examples shown are my own work, colour pallet was in line with the brands own.

Project: Blast Aviation- hosted on Shopify
My contribution: Designed and built a Shopify website, contributing to the site’s layout, visual presentation, content and overall user experience. Worked within the Shopify platform to create a functional and visually cohesive online presence that provides easily accessible information for potential students.

Berkeley: A Journey Through Music

Overview
A documentary-style short film exploring the challenges of navigating the Australian music industry as a young musician, and the story behind the formation of Geelong-based band Berkeley.
Following musician Oliver Reynolds, the film explores his personal experiences, journey through the music industry and the circumstances that led to the band’s formation.
My contribution
Independently developed and produced the documentary, overseeing all aspects of the project from initial concept and planning through to filming, editing and final production.

PERSONAL PROJECT · SEQUENTIAL VIDEO
Overview
An experimental sequential video exploring an ethereal perspective of everyday life, with a focus on nature, the coast and our relationship with the surrounding environment.
Through a series of visual sequences, the piece explores immersion, transformation and the connection between people and nature. Capturing the calm before the storm, it reflects on the subtle changes in our surroundings and the feeling of becoming one with the natural environment.
My contribution
Conceptualised and created the video, developing the visual direction and sequencing to communicate the project’s atmosphere, themes and narrative.
